     يُعد الأرشيف الخاص بِعميد الأدب العربى وأُسرته من أهم الأرشيفات الخاصة المحفوظة بمتاحفنا القومية. يستمد أهميته من شخصية الدكتور طه حسين الأدبية والقيادية التى كان لها بصمات امتد أثرها إلينا. فدوره فى كُلًّا من وزارة المعارف العمومية والجامعة المصرية والجامعة العربية وغيرها من الجهات التعليمية داخل مصر وخارجها يٌعبر عن ثِقَل شخصيته والتى تم تكريمها من كبرى الجهات فى تلك الفترة؛ فالقيمة المعلوماتية من دراسة وثائق الدكتور طه حسين وأسرته امتدت لتغطى جانيين، أولهما: الجانب الشخصي والذى تناول علاقته بأفراد عائلته وأسرته وأصدقائه. والآخر: الجانب الرسمى الذى تناول الجهات الرسمية التى عمل بها أو تعامل معها داخل مصر وخارجها. اعتمدت الدراسة على منهجين، أولهما: المنهج المسحي؛ لدراسة جميع وثائق الدراسة باللغة العربية ونماذج من الوثائق الفرنسية، والآخر: المنهج التاريخى تحليلًا وتركيبًا؛ لإستخلاص الحقائق التاريخية الواردة بالوثائق. وقد خلُصت الدراسة إلى إعداد مقترح لخطة ترتيب وثائق الدراسة وإعداد قائمة حصر تاريخية. كما تم عرض مقترحين للتطوير وفقا للمعايير الدولية، أولهما: خاص ببيئة الحفظ الحالية وفقا للمعيار الدولى أيزو19814/2017. والثانى خاص برقمنة الوثائق وفقا للمعيار الدولى أيزو13028/2010. وقد انتهت الدراسة إلى ضرورة توجيه الاهتمام بالوثائق الأرشيفية المحفوظة بالمتاحف القومية، وضرورة الاستعانة بالمتخصصين للتعامل العلمي معها، وتوفير الإمكانات والتجهيزات المادية اللازمة.
The archive of the Dean of Arab Literature and his family is one of the most important private archives preserved in our national museums. Its importance derives from Dr. Taha Hussein's literary and leadership personality, which has many fingerprints that have spread to us. His role in the Ministry of Public Knowledge, the Egyptian University, the Arab League, and other educational institutions inside and outside Egypt reflects the weight of his personality, which was honored by the central authorities in that period. Thus, informational values from the study of Dr. Taha Hussein's documents and his family extended to cover two sides. The first personal aspect dealt with his relationship with family members, family, and friends. The second official aspect dealt with by official agencies inside and outside Egypt that worked with or dealt with by Dr. Taha Hussein. The study relied on two methodologies. First, descriptive methodology to investigates Arabic and French documents. Second, historical methodology to analysis and synthesize Historical facts contained in the documents. The study provided a proposal for documents arrangement plan and chronological Inventory list. Two proposals for development have also been presented in conformity with international standards. The first is for the current conservation environment in accordance with international standard ISO19814/2017. The second is for the digitization of documents in accordance with international standard ISO13028/2010. The study concluded that attention should be paid to the documentary collection preserved by national museums, the importance of using specialists to deal with archival documents and to provide the necessary material capabilities and equipment that conform to the recommendations of international standards.
