  تعمل الحوكمة الالكترونية على استخدام الموارد بفاعلية وكفاءة لتقديم أفضل الخدمات الكترونيا مما يؤدي إلى سهولة في انجاز المهام حيث تمثل معيارا حقيقيا للتطوير معلوماتيا واتصالاتيا والكترونيا , فالتطور والتقدم التقني قد فرض على الجامعات مسئوليات وتوجهات معينة لتحسين إجراءات العمل والوصول إلى مستويات متقدمة في مؤشرات التنمية المستدامة , ولذا استهدف البحث تحديد متطلبات تطبيق الحوكمة الالكترونية كآلية في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بالمؤسسات الأكاديمية وذلك من خلال تحديد المتطلبات البشرية , والمتطلبات الإدارية , ومتطلبات البنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات , ومتطلبات الأمن الرقمي , ومتطلبات المشاركة الالكترونية , والمتطلبات القانونية , كما استهدف تحديد مجالات الحوكمة الالكترونية كآلية في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بالمؤسسات الأكاديمية , واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي حيث اعتمدت على منهج دراسة الحالة , وتوصل البحث إلى ضرورة توفير الدعم المالي المناسب للتشجيع على استخدام الحوكمة الرقمية ,والتزويد بأحدث أجهزة الحاسب الآلي , تحسين البنية التحتية المعلوماتية بشكل مستمر, والتزويد ببرامج وتطبيقات رقمية تمكنهم من تقديم الخدمة بطريقة الكترونية صالحة للاستخدام بشكل سهل , ضرورة  إقامة دورات تدريبية متخصصة في مجال استخدام الحاسب والشبكات
E-governance uses resources effectively and efficiently to provide the best services electronically, which leads to ease in completing tasks, as it represents a real standard for informational, communication and electronic development, Technical development and progress have imposed on universities certain responsibilities and directions to improve work procedures and reach advanced levels in sustainable development indicators, Therefore , the research aimed to identify the requirements for applying electronic governance as a mechanism in achieving sustainable development in academic institutions ,This is done by defining human requirements, administrative requirements, information technology infrastructure requirements, digital security requirements, electronic participation requirements, and legal requirements ,It also aimed to define the areas of electronic governance as a mechanism for achieving sustainable development in academic institutions , The study used the descriptive approach, as it relied on the case study approach , The research concluded that it is necessary to provide appropriate financial support to encourage the use of digital governance, and to provide the latest computers, to improve the information infrastructure continuously, and to provide digital programs and applications that enable them to provide service in a manner Easy to use electronic , The need to hold specialized training courses in the field of computer and network use .
