Politeness in Intercultural Communication التهذب في التواصل بين الثقافات

Communication in globalization age between people from different countries and different mother tongues is a part of daily life. The more the culture is different, the more the communication is difficult. Therefore, this article aims to clarify the effect of culture on the linguistic politeness. We therefore shall refer that the discussion about cultural characteristics related to politeness is controversial such as an attempt to find a definition of Politeness Term. In the beginning, we deal with the definition of “Culture” and “Intercultural” and then discuss the problems arising from the difference of polite attitude due to different cultures. Then, the difference between politeness strategies and patterns is discussed, and accordingly leading to the discussion of how the politeness may be a subject to be dealt with in the light of teaching German language as a foreign language. The researcher has followed a conclusion-based approach supporting the findings with examples from daily life and educational materials provided in the books of teaching German language as a foreign language. The findings of the research show that communication between people of two different cultures sometimes leads to misunderstanding. For example, different interpretations of gestures, face reactions and body language from individuals of different cultures usually lead to misunderstanding. Moreover, the hypothesis revealing that politeness and culture are closely linked and there is no joint polite attitude between cultures. A polite attitude in one culture may be deemed rude in one another. This is the reason why the linguistic politeness is one of the most important subjects to be considered in light of teaching German language.
يعد التواصل في عصر العولمة  بين الناس من مختلف البلدان ومع إختلاف اللغات الأم جزءًا من الحياة اليومية. فکلما کانت الثقافات مختلفة عن بعضها البعض، کلما کان التواصل أکثر صعوبة بين ذويها. لهذا السبب يهدف هذا المقال إلى إظهار مدي تأثير الثقافة علي التهذب اللغوي. وهنا يجدر الإشارة إلي أن النقاش حول الخصائص الثقافية المتعلقة بالتهذب هو مثير للجدل مثل محاولة إيجاد تعريف لمصطلح الأدب أو التهذب. ففي البداية بتم التطرق إلي کيف يمکن تعريف مصطلحي "الثقافة"    و"ما بين الثقافات ثم نناقش مسألة ما هي المشاکل التي تنشأ في اختلاف السلوک التهذبي نظرا للثقافات المختلفة. ثم تتم مناقشة الفرق بين استراتيجيات التهذب وأنماطه. وبناءً على ذلک، تتم مناقشة مدى کون التهذب موضوعًا يتم تناوله في اطار تدريس اللغة الألمانية کلغة أجنبية. وقد اتبعت الباحثة منهج البحث القائم علي الاستدلال والاستنتاج مع تدعيم النتائج بأمثلة من الحياة اليومية ونماذج من المواد العلمية المطروحة في کتب تدريس اللغة الألمانية کلغة أجنبية. وقد أسفرت نتائج البحث عن أن التواصل بين ذوي ثقافتين مختلفتين يؤدي أحيانًا إلى سوء فهم. فعلى سبيل المثال، تؤدي التفسيرات المختلفة للإيماءات وتعبيرات الوجه ولغة الجسد من قبل أفراد من ثقافات مختلفة في معظم الحالات إلى سوء فهم. بالإضافة إلى ذلک، تم تأکيد الفرضية القائلة بأن التهذب والثقافة يرتبطان ارتباطًا وثيقًا وأنه لا يوجد سلوک مهذب موحد بين الثقافات. فما يعتبر مهذبا في ثقافة ممکن اعتباره وقحا في ثقافة أخرى. هذا هو السبب في أن التهذب اللغوي هو واحد من أهم الموضوعات التي يجب تناولها في اطار تدريس اللغة الألمانية.
