The Description in the Fables of La Fontaine and the Tales of Amadou Hampâté Bâ

Abstract:
The present research aims to highlight the points of convergence of two cultures which are most dissimilar, by means of a comparative  study of elements of descriptive writing in two literary works: the Fables de La Fontaine, the eminent fabulist of the XVII century, and the Tales of Amadou Hampâté Bâ, the Malian author, ethnologist and historian of the XX century. This comparative study also intends to trace similarities and differences between both works, by means of exploring differences in the describer-receiver relationship, as well as, techniques used to incorporate description in fables and tales. Hence, it was necessary to shed light on the role which the descriptive style plays in both cases. Several literary and critical references, other references about storytelling and its techniques, and reliable websites are used throughout the recent research
الملخص:
يهدف بحثنا الحالي الي توضيح خطوط التلاقي  بين ثقافتين يبتعدان في الزمان والمکان و هذا عن طريق دراسة مقارنة بين الوصف في عملين هما: حکايات لافونتين، للکاتب الفرنسي الشهير بالقرن السابع عشر  و القصص القصيرة لآمادو آماتيه با الکاتب والمؤرخ المالي بالقرن  العشرين.و تهدف الدراسة المقارنة بين الوصف في العملين وتوضيح أوجه التلاقي و الاختلاف بين العملين. و ذلک عن طريق دراسة للاختلاف بين العلاقة بين الواصف والمتلقي و کذلک طرق دمج الوصف فيهما. و کذلک کان من الضروري القاء الضوء علي دور الوصف في الحالتين. في خلال بحثنا تم الاستعانة بمراجع أدبية نقدية و مراجع عن السرد وآلياته وکذلک مواقع الانترنت الموثوق بها.
