يهدف البحث بمنهج استقصائى علمى تحليلى إلى استقصاء قضية رعاية الأيتام فى الحياة الإسلامية وموقف الدول الإسلامية المتعاقبة فى معالجتها حتى تهاية العصر الأموى ، ودور الأيتام السياسى والحضارى ، متناولا الحديث عن اليتم کمشکلة للمجتمعات، ثم يتناول تعريف مصطلح اليتيم، وصور رعايته قبل الإسلام حتى نهاية العصر الأموى (132هـ) على المستوى الأهلي والرسمى للدولة، مختتما بأثر ودور الأيتام السياسى والحضاري ، وانتهى البحث بما توصل إليه من نتائج وتوصيات ، وبيان أهم مصادره ومراجعه، وأسفرت نتائج البحث عن اهتمام الاسلام برعاية الأيتام مبکرا على المستوى الأهلى والرسمى ، وبروز العديد من الأيتام فى مجالات العلوم والمعارف الفکرية الشرعية والعربية والعقلية والإنسانية ، وفى مجال العمارة والفنون ، وفى الحياة الاجتماعية والدينية، وبرزوا فى مجال القيادة العسکرية والفتوحات الإسلامية ، وأهمية ذلک فر رفع همم الأيتام نحو المعالى والبناء السياسى والحضارى فى کل زمان ومکان.
The research aims to investigate the issue of orphan care in Islamic life and the position of successive Islamic countries in addressing them until the fall of the Umayyad era ،And the orphanages of the political and civilized, reaching to talk about orphaning as a problem for societies, and then deals with the definition of the term orphan, and pictures of his care before Islam until the end of the Umayyad era (132 Ah) at the civil and official level of the state Concluding the impact of the political and cultural orphanages, the research concluded with its findings and recommendations, and the statement of its most important sources and review, and resulted in the results of the research on the interest of Islam in the care of orphans early at the national and official level.And the emergence of many orphans in the fields of science and intellectual knowledge islamic, Arab, mental and human, in the field of architecture and arts, and in social and religious life, and emerged in the field of military ،leadership and Islamic conquests,The importance of this has escaped the rise of orphans towards the high and political and cultural construction at all times and places.
