دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في زيادة الوعي الأمني دراسة ميدانية على عينة من سكان المملكة العربية السعودية The Role of Social Media Networks in Increasing Security Awareness: A Field Study on a Sample of the Population in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

يسعى هذا البحث إلى تحديد مدى استخدام المواطنين والمقيمين في المملكة العربية السعودية لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وتأثيرها على مستوى وعيهم الأمني. كما يهدف إلى تحديد الفروق بين الفئات السكانية المختلفة ومستوى وعيهم الأمني. اعتمدت منهجية البحث على إجراء مسح اجتماعي إلكتروني باستخدام استبيان، وشارك فيه 641 مستجيباً تم اختيارهم بشكل عمدي. وتم توزيع الاستبيان الإلكتروني على المشاركين في كافة مناطق المملكة الثلاث عشرة. أظهرت نتائج البحث أنه كلما زادت درجة التفاعل مع وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، ارتفع الوعي بالعقوبات المرتبطة بالمخالفات والجرائم. كما وُجد أن هناك علاقة عكسية بين الدخل الشهري والعمر من جهة، ومستوى التفاعل مع الشبكات الاجتماعية والوعي بالعقوبات من جهة أخرى، حيث كان هذا الوعي مرتفعًا نسبيًا. وأكد المشاركون على أهمية تعزيز الانتماء الوطني للجمهور عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، بالإضافة إلى توعية الناس بالإجراءات الأمنية والعقوبات المتعلقة بالمخالفات والجرائم، بما في ذلك كيفية استخدام منصة أبشر والمنصات الأمنية الأخرى. وأوصى البحث بزيادة المحتوى التوعوي الأمني على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لتحقيق الأثر المطلوب.
This study aimed to assess the extent to which citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia used social media platforms and their impact on security awareness levels. It also sought to identify differences in security awareness levels across various demographic groups. The research methodology involved conducting an electronic social survey using a questionnaire, which was completed by 641 purposively selected respondents. The electronic questionnaire was distributed to participants across all the thirteen regions of the Kingdom. The findings revealed that as the level of engagement with social media increased, so did awareness of the penalties associated with violations and crimes. Additionally, an inverse relationship was found between monthly income and age on one hand, and the level of interaction with social networks and awareness of penalties on the other, with higher awareness levels observed in those who engaged more with social media. Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening national identity among the public through social media platforms, as well as educating people on security procedures and the penalties related to violations and crimes, including how to use the Absher platform and other security platforms. The study recommended enhancing the presence of security awareness content on social media to achieve the desired impact.
