وصف مصادر أدب الرحلة عند السريان من خلال رحلات الرهبان السريان قديماً وحديثاً

ملخص البحث
يتناول هذا البحث بعض مصادر أدب الرحلات عند السريان التي تتعرض لبعض الرحلات التي قام بها الرهبان السريان قديمًا وحديثًا وذلک من خلال الرجوع إلى بعض المراجع العربية والسريانية المتاحة . وبذلک يلقى الضوء على بعض الأهداف والدوافع التي أدت إلى ارتحالهم وقطعهم لمسافات طويلة بعيدًا عن ديارهم ، فنرى أن من تلک الأسباب کانت هناک الدينية و التجارية و العلمية وکذلک السياسية، وقد أسهمت بعض هذه الرحلات المکتوبة بالسريانية بشکل کبير في إثراء الأدب السرياني بجنس أدبي جديد عليها ، ألا وهو أدب الرحلات وقد تناول الباحث في هذا البحث ثلاثة مصادر سريانية تضمنت هذه الرحلات.
Summary of this research
This research is dealing with some Syriac travels literature resources of the  Syrians ,which is talking also about some of these journeys were made by syriac monks in old and modern ages , that was through some of Arabic and Syrian available sources. So This research is spotting on some purposes and goals which pushed them to travel across very far distances away from their homelands .We see that among these reasons there were religious, commercial, scientific and political reasons. And some of these written travels took a big part in enriching Syriac literature, with a new kind of literature that was Travel literature.
